Saudi German Hospitals Group Dubai : Job Description
Job Title :– Stock Controller
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To generate the regular purchase requisition of inventory items according to the MIN/Max.
- To generate monthly reports of near expiration, expired, KPI, MTM required reports, Non-Move, return items and inventory days report.
- To control expiry and discrepancies of floor inventory stock level to maintain in all area store.
- To maintain inventory stock level to be followed with supplier for delivery.
- To guide the staff for all warehouse activities.
- Checks stock number, description, and unit of issue against inventory ticket, or other article identification to assure that the item to be counted is in agreement therewith.
- Checking the items in the computer at the time of receiving items, quantity and price as per the purchase order.
- Materials delivery and supplies to requestor as instructed by the supervisor.
- Helps to prepare issuing materials to the requestor.
- Counts stock numbers as directed by segment head or Finance Manager and assists in recounts.
- Checks each unit as counted to assure correct identity as indicated by the inventory ticket and by comparison with the other units, and that the indicated unit of issue is correct.
- Inspects each unit as counted to determine that it is complete and in serviceable condition, and records on the inventory ticket if material is damaged, not in serviceable condition or requires inspection.
- Records on the inventory ticket, information concerning the identification and condition of material, storage conditions, and method of count.
- Assist in receiving personnel in checking and counting of items delivered by the suppliers.
- Other duties that may assign from time to time.
Minimum Job Requirement :
Education– Graduate in a discipline related to Materials Management, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in Logistics/Materials Management
Experience– Minimum experience of 7 years working for a large hospital, hotels or similar establishments.
Knowledge /skills – Exceptional and advanced knowledge and skills on how to maintain and arrange the store properly.
