The job holder will work side by side with both Account Management and System Engineering personnel in selling service assurance solutions (HW/Software and Professional Services) to and through Service Providers and Equipment Manufacturers, both existing and new. The role provides business and strategic selling as it relates to driving Spirent Service Assurance Solutions business in a defined territory and the job holder is responsible for developing and executing a territory sales plan that will lead to overachievement of a defined territory quota for the LSA Business Unit. Working in an overlay model the job holder will add significant value to existing account management functions by building direct client realtionships and developing opportunities in a team selling setting. The Solutions Sales Consultant will also perform a critical role throughout the entire customer lifecycle, including discovery, qualification, solution definition, demonstration, proof of concepts, negotiations, closing and enabling transition to the services delivery team.Job RequirementsHave the ability to access and effectively converse with client executives, build trust, and gain a working understanding of key technical and business challenges that confront that executive, in particular around 5G, SDN/NFV/SD-WAN, and all aspects of automation, QoE and assuranceBe fully conversant with Automation Solutions in both IT and the orchestration of devices with a thorough understanding of product / service development processes in the communications and high-tech IndustryAbility to quickly develop a deep knowledge of customer’s business and discuss issues of business process, people and systems
Strength and experience in solution and value selling and the ability to build solid business cases that supports the value proposition

Ability to develop mid and senior level management relationships in Engineering Organizations, focused on those who have the power to make organizational change

Adept at driving two-way communications by clearly articulating value proposition and talking to client’s pain points

Ability to develop customer advocates who sell and build consensus and the ability to influence key decision makers

Experience selling high end HW/Software solutions and consulting services. Keeping track of economic and industry activity and understanding its implications on customer business

Creative ability to solve customer problems with a unique combination of Software, Hardware, and Services solutions negotiate and close 1M+ deals.

Min of 10+ years working experience in the EMEA SP community

Min of 5+ years experience in selling SW/HW based Service Assurance Solutions
