Full Job Description :-
Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced candidates to join our team as Commis 1 -Pastry. The key duties & responsibilities of this position includes,
1. Support Supervisor in the daily operation and work.
2. Work according to the menu specifications provide by the company.
3. Evaluate the quality & quantity of food ingredients or prepared food.
4. Creating pastries, baked goods and confectionaries according to the volume, special orders & requirements as given by the Exe. Chef .
5. Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batter, dough’s, filling or icing, using scales or graduated containers.
6. Check equipment’s to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning as necessary.
7. Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the Company.
8. Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
9. Organize the shift in the section with regard to mise-en-place production and its service.
10. Participate in food preparation adheres the portion control policy/standard platting instruction. Ensure that all equipment’s are correctly handled and maintained.
11. Prepare all food in highest quality and present it in the best appetizing manner, dispense food only against valid docket.
12. Prepare food orders efficiently and within reasonable time. Make sure that the food items leaving the kitchen are accordingly served immediately
13. Take orders from Supervisor and carry them out in the correct manner.
14. Prepare all items in the section as per the standards laid down to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction
