Job Tittle:  Merchandiser

 

Full Job Description :- 

Responsibilities :- 
• Review pricing and suggest repricing to move slow moving stock
• Send stock files to the supplier to swap slow sellers for fast & negotiate returns
• Manage data accuracy and make sure fixes are made in a timely manner
• Send reorders weekly to make sure we have enough stock in our fast moving product
• Run Ad Hoc reports for the Merch Planner
• Manage the revenue and items targets and raise concerns if you are not tracking to meet goals
• Monitor sales and suggest skus that need to be boosted to the Merch Planner & Senior Merch
• Keep a constant update on how the department is tracking to budgets and use this in line with the shipment plan to make sure product is dropping when you need it
• Send out the weekly email to discuss sales, stock, new brands, cover on your best-selling brands and plans on how you will achieve the budget & notes on general performance to target
• Analyze the zero sales report & build out trends to feedback to the team
• Monitor slow selling skus & make sure they are correctly priced & are getting enough visibility to sell through in a timely manner
• Run a month end report to discuss performance against last month’s sales highlighting new brands added, changes in brand rankings and address any issues we may have
• Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of best sellers making sure lead time is managed to avoid any loss in sales
• Understand product and pricing analysis to inform pricing strategy and manage all spend within budgetary requirements.
• Accumulate trend information and generally maintain market awareness in keeping with our target customer
