Job Purpose
As a Principal Business Solutions, you will own and drive end to end solutions. You will leverage your industry and revenue management expertise to help shape the future of the product and its roadmap releases and prioritization. You will engage with key industry stakeholders to identify changing business priorities & trends and conceptualize new models that enhance product’s capabilities, increase product value proposition and improve competitive advantage.
What will you do?
Engage with key airline and cargo industry stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and trends and conceptualize new models and features to enhance the product’s capabilities, increase product value proposition and improve competitive advantage.
Work with internal product, data and engineering teams to define the product’s data driven models and document the business requirements and concepts that align with the industry and organisation’s vision. Follow it through in supporting the product delivery life cycle and product roll-outs at various customers, acting as the subject matter expert on revenue management and its business processes
Leverage your industry and revenue management expertise to help shape the future of the product and its roadmap releases and prioritization.
Lead the product’s industry and customer engagements in presales and otherwise as required to further the cause of the product.
What do you need to know?
Broad and comprehensive expertise and hands-on experience in revenue management disciplines relevant to the airline industry, particularly air cargo.
Experience in In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking required to define problems and develop innovative AI/ML solutions.
Ability to establish strategic features and concepts that require a sound understanding of the underlying theories of airline revenue management discipline.
Comprehensive knowledge of the air cargo industry and airline revenue management domain to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business and to bring in the capability needed to differentiate from the competition.
Experience in building credible customer relationships both in immediate team & across multiple customer groups.
Sound understanding of IT technology concepts, software architectures and product management principles.
Prior hands-on experience of at least 8 to 10 years working in airline business (preferably cargo) focusing on revenue management
Bachelor’s degree in aviation or IT or relevant disciplines
