Urgent Hiring! Position: Furniture Carpenters and Joinery Upholsterer Location: Dubai DIP-2 Required Nationality: Any Salary: Start 1,500.00aed as per experience Responsibilities:
1.Follow sketches, patterns or blueprints to indicate cutting lines on fabrics using chalks, pencils or paints
2.Measure and cut materials using manual or automated cutting instruments
3.Confirm with customers prior to upholstery to determine their color, style, and fabric preferences
4.Remove anchoring tacks and strip upholstered furniture down to its wooden frame
5.Examine furniture frames, springs, and webbings to identify defects
6.Apply their knowledge of upholstery to build or repair upholstered furniture using a variety of hand or power tools
7.Ensure projects are completed and delivered before set deadline
8.Cover wooden frame with soft materials such as cotton, felt pad, fiber or foam to improve texture and appearance
9.Secure work pieces and materials unto production equipment
10.Conduct routine maintenance of work tools and upholstery machine
11.Finish upholstered furniture by attaching ornament trims, buttons, buckles, and grommets
12.Operate sewing machine to sew upholstery and join various sections of covering fabric
13.Replace defective or worn upholstery spring, webbing or wooden frame
