Full Job Description :- 

The Role :- We are currently seeking an Inside Service Sales Engineer to join our team in United Arab Emirates.

As Inside Service Sales your mission is maximizing the sales and profitability of the parts and service business by promoting sales of spare parts and services to new and existing customers, in accordance with agreed business plans whilst working closely with the rest of the sales team to maximize opportunities and climb the service ladder.

 

Your success in this role is determined by your ability to be customer oriented, while finding the most suitable value proposition for the customer. This position will require you to be highly organized, able to prioritize and collaborate with cross-functional teams. We expect you to be able to follow market trends and to challenge the status quo, looking for innovative solutions for an ever-changing customer and market scenario.

This function will increase the efficiency of the overall operation and increase Service Sales.


Essential Duties:

  • Follow up, qualify, and respond to leads from different sources as appropriate.
  • Make outbound sales calls to existing and lost customers and prospects.
  • Prepare and submit spare parts quotations and ensure that a follow up is made until receipt of purchase order
  • Standard Fixed Price quotes against SMART Link leads (preparation, customer submission and follow ups)
  • Secure sales leads from service engineers visit reports and other inquiries (coming through emails, phone etc.); qualify the leads and either provide a price quotation directly to the customer or forward the lead to the relevant sales engineer for follow-up (depends on the complexity of requirement)
  • To send service reminders to non-contract customers (Contact every customer 10 months after their last service, remind them on their next service dues)
  • Promote & Sell Parts plan for smaller range of compressor (< 30 kW).
  • Support the rest of the sales team by identifying opportunities to up-sell and maximize our customer share.
  • Standard PMA/EW+/Parts Plan/spare parts proposal for prime equipment sales team.
  • Consistent C4C implementation of all sales and marketing activities to ensure accurate market information and customer database
  • Achieving assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets
  • Collaborate with other areas and sales teams and functions to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover lost customers
  • Co-ordinate telemarketing campaigns as and when required
  • Perform other duties related to the strategic and operational development of the Aftermarket business
  • Actively contribute to team efforts, meetings and discussions

What we expect of you?


Experience & Education :- 

  • Experience in the service business, prospecting and conducting systematic sales process would be an advantage for the applicant.
  • Experience with compressed air systems would also be a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is desirable, in either management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization. Relevant related experience will be considered.


Skills & Competencies Desired :- 

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills a must
  • Candidate must be comfortable with communicating over the phone, making cold calls, and managing daily activities in C4C.
  • Customer Focused: Must be customer oriented, able to understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly
  • Risk Taker: Able to take risks while still analyzing potential pitfalls of your actions
  • Lead Yourself: Be self-motivated, willing to act while coping with varied workloads and be assertive and organized while demonstrating flexibility in day-to-day work
  • Must be well versed in MS Office products, CRMs and database management
