Full Job Description :- 

Branch- Jebel Ali We are looking for an experienced candidate who will be the focal point for handling overseas agents / customers’ shipping requests, coordinate with the internal operations and carriers on all shipping requests, provide & assist with quotations and manage freight solutions. Job responsibilities – · Identify and engage new agents globally · Constantly engage current agents to push for reduction in buying prices and/or seek new agents to compare the pricing and service. ·
Regular communication with agents either on phone or face-to-face meetings to build up on the relationship · Promote free hand shipments from agents – export and cross trade · Monitor all import/export shipments and liaise closely with the concerned desks to ensure all shipments are handled efficiently. · Regularly send updates to sales on preferred products/rates announced by agents in order to push for new business. · Handle all import queries for sales from quoting directly to the customer and/or the sales to follow -up to ensure business secured · Provide vessel schedules to agent/customer specifically stating the cut off details – outbound / cross trade · In-depth knowledge of generating carrier bookings, obtaining rates, SI submission and shipping related documentation · Identify and work on import customers leads for new business generation. · Driving cost savings with a focus on Visibility (positive effect), Variability (alternative solution) and Velocity (speed) · Provide suggestions, ideas for new areas of development · Resolving Invoice dispute with carriers immediately on receipt

Desired Candidate Profile:-

Knowledge and Skills – · A minimum of 5 years’ freight forwarding industry experience · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high attention to detail · Strong analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skill · Excellent organizational skills · Proficient computer skills · Team player and forward-thinker.
