Job Description :-
This role is to be the divisional Head of Audit covering Wholesale, Retail and Credit Risk for one of the leading banks in the region. Whilst a strong all round experience of internal audit across the banking sector is required, in particular a strong emphasis will be on credit risk. Leading a team. you will assess the effectiveness of controls and procedures in place in the first and second line . You will be the subject matter specialist on credit review working with the CEO and CRO to ensure that any areas of concern are mitigated. Beyond this you will lead the audits of wholesale and retail banking, managing the relationship with stakeholders and presenting findings when required to the Audit Committee and various other committees.
Candidates should be professionally qualified with significant experience at Senior Manager or Director level leading audits of corporate and commercial banking products and retail banking. In particular a deep understanding of credit risk in these areas is essential.
