Job Tittle:  Storekeeper cum Cost Controller

 

Job Description :- 

Please read Job Description carefully, Only experience in F&B candidates and who can join immediately can Apply.

1. Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the store to the correct point of contact/storage area.

2. Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.

3. Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.

4. Maintain clear and organised records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.

5. Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels.

6. Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.

7. Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.

8. Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.

9. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

10. Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.

11. Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads (HOD’s)

12. Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.

13. Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter into the System.

14. Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.

15. Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Chief Accountant and the physical count to be tallied with the inventory count from the System.

16. Any differences between the manual count and system have to be investigated and the information to be given to the Finance Department.

17. Work closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.

18. Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process.

19. Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures.

20. Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.

21. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

22. Speak with others using clear and professional language.

23. Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.

24. Notify the store manager/supervisor of any low stock levels.

25. Identify and report any slow-moving items to avoid over purchasing.

26. Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.

27. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.

As a cost controller:

1. Able to effectively control the Food & Beverage Cost.

2. Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.

3. Prepare variance analysis for food & beverage and communicating with relevant parties.

4. Update and maintain receipts into the systems (FMC).

5. Check and verify voids in the POS systems.

6. Check and verify discounts on the POS systems.

7. Check and verify any happy hours discounts.

8 . Check and verify all complimentary sales in POS systems.

9. Check the cost of sales in all F&B outlets and ensure that the costs are within budget.

10. Check the menu pricing on the POS systems and ensure the correct prices are loaded.

Prerequisites:

· Positive attitude and good communication skills.

· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.

· Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

· Have a good eye for detail.

· Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.

Education:

Relevant diploma or degree in Management/Finance or related business discipline. Able to work with MS Office suite.

Experience:

Previous store management experience with stock control responsibility. Experience of at least two years in a similar position in the full-service hotel or hospitality industry.
