Job Description :-
JOB PURPOSE :-
The job holder is responsible for polyolefin product and application development in line with the Borouge innovation strategy, in the industrial areas of packaging, infrastructure, mobility, and energy. The candidate must have intimate customer and market knowledge possessing strong command of the relative value proposition of competitive products and technologies. Responsible of evaluating and approving technical aspects of the new products. Acting as a technical leader in the R&D activities, by leading project teams, cooperating internally with marketing and operation teams, and externally with value chain partners throughout the whole innovation process from ideation to implementation.
About you
Job Specific Accountabilities Area of responsibility :-
- Ensure that product development strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the business plan
- Maintain an understanding and critically evaluate strategies of competitors and emerging technologies
- Manage and monitor the entire product lifecycle from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters
- Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of work for more complex/high valued projects to ensure effective project management and achievement of key performance indicators
- Conduct approval of technical concepts and lead the identification of product development opportunities in all product areas and applications to facilitate the discovery of untapped revenue generating areas for Borouge
- Develop and seek approval for the innovation /IPR strategy for the product group in line with the global standards and Borouge’s strategic objectives.
- Lead/explore new technologies, and concepts which will enhance the product development processes in order to achieve Borouge’s business objectives

- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies while exploring new applications to service the unspecified market requirements and to replace existing application to facilitate achievement of cost efficiencies and sustainability.
