Full Job Description :-

Assists the finance and accounting department-Accounts receivable with billing, tracking and collections of accounts due and reconciling conflicts. Determines reason for customer payment delinquency and obtains commitment

Receiving and processing payments in accordance with established methods and procedures.
Maintaining accurate and thorough records of payment history and status of accounts.
Working with partners to facilitate payments and reconcile any differences or conflicts.
Recognizing calls requiring special handling or customized responses and escalating accordingly.
To apply effective credit control and risk management for the partner portfolio
To maintain regular contact with partners to follow-up on overdue invoices, payment deductions, pending disputes, and payment commitments such as LC opening and bank guarantee renewal/increases.
To ensure credit limits are implemented and play a proactive role in opening discussion with sales to change credit limits as required.
To support in month-end closing and meet the deadlines

What we ask:-

Practical “hands-on” exposure to an environment with a high volume of customers within Africa (essential)
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance or an equivalent qualification (essential)
Strong organizational skills when dealing with large amounts of data (essential)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (essential)
Fluency in written and spoken English and French (essential)
