About the role
Fully sponsored role with a competitive total package of up to 357,200 AED, which includes an accommodation allowance
Education Development Trust is seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to manage all aspects of finance and administration for our Middle East regional hub in Dubai. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of the financial accounts and processes across our Middle East programmes. This includes transactional processing, financial statements and audit, financial planning and reporting, systems and controls, legal and tax compliance, and office administration.
If you have the following qualifications and experience, we’d love to hear from you:
• Fully qualified and experienced Accountant (eg CPA or ACCA certified)
• Recent experience of working in a senior finance role within the UAE, ideally for a multinational organisation
• Knowledge of UAE Federal Tax Authority guidelines and regulations
• Experience in financial management including monthly management reports, annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Effective communication skills with strong oral and written skills in English
• Ability to be proactive and meticulous, and meet reporting deadlines
Previous experience of using our ERP System, Business World (formerly Agresso) would be a distinct advantage.
