Full Job Description :-
1. SUMMARY JOB
1.1. Directs, Supervises & oversees the efficient operation of the radiology department
2. CORE FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 To interpret and report on any X-ray or CT Scan images.
5.2 To perform and interpret ultrasounds f the abdomen, chest, neck, MSK and echo-doppler of the limb.
5.3 To supervise and be responsible for the clinical work and keeping of records staff attached to the department.
5.4 To keep such records and to supply such reports and other information as may be required by the Facility from time to time
5.5 To ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that minimizes delays for patients and possible disruption of services.
5.6 To provide, as appropriate, consultation in designated expertise in respect of patients of other Physicians at their request.
5.7 To participate in clinical audit and proactive risk management and facilitate production of all data/information required for same in accordance with regulatory, statutory, and corporate policies and procedures.
5.8 To perform such other duties appropriate to the office as may be assigned by the Medical Director
5.9 Participate actively in the management of the Radiology department, take cognizance of resource constraints, and retain clinical autonomy while practicing
