Job Description :-
The Senoir Account Executive will support the A/E and A/S as the Client’s main contact with the Agency on a day-to-day basis and is the representative within the Agency for the interests for the Brand.
Senior Account Executives are participants in the development of advertising plans, integrated ideas & solutions and creative strategies for their clients, while ensuring the effective implementation of each. Senior Account Executives are strong partners to their clients and Creative & Strategy Directors, as they have a clear understanding of where the client’s business needs to be, and how their team can help deliver. In addition, the Senior Account Executives play a vital role in the training and development of the Account Executives and/or Assistant Account Executives. They motivate their team and set a good example by living creatively. Core attributes of an Senior Account Executives are: Thinker, Builder, Inspiring
Assist as point-of-contact for agency partners and internal team
Traffics placement of campaigns and recommends rotations
Meeting and liaising with agency partners and internal team to discuss and identify marketing communications and requirements
Coordinate and facilitate meetings for status reports/updates, presentations and regroup sessions
Provide input during development of projects based on insights and knowledge of project objectives
Compile and distribute post meeting documents detailing key discussion items and next steps
Organization of pertinent client and agency documents, maintaining the organization of the existing information database
Culturally involved and active
Is the day-to-day guardian of the client’s brand image
Missionary for the creative product; approaches creative with infectious enthusiasm and stimulates creative thinking with their clients and agency team
Ensures that jobs are correctly billed and within budget and understands how the agency makes money and the financial process.
Ensures agency systems and procedures are adhered to and/or improved to ensure client expectations are fulfilled while agency profitability is protected
Proactively consults with key departments and divisions to keep them informed of upcoming workload; keeps supervisor informed so there are no surprises
Collaborates with Strategic Planners to ensure the development of provocative, single-minded communications strategies
Strategic thinking abilities by keeping current on the industry trends and issues affecting client’s business. Reads business journals and synthesizes current business and marketing knowledge to improve/build on ideas
Management of AES and AAES
Understands DDB as a company and its philosophy; brings the DDB values to life.
Forms strong bonds with clients; earning their respect and confidence
Can reach up to more senior clients; always searching for ways to enhance the client/agency relationship
Liaises with senior agency personnel to ensure constant and timely communication of client issues, concerns or requests; and to keep informed of agency resources and/or profitability issues which may impact client/Agency P&L
You must be proficient in English, Arabic, and French
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and able to work well with team members
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working on digital and direct campaigns
Aptitude to take in the larger picture and think like strategic partner
Able to work effectively and confidently across departments and at all management levels (internally and externally)
2-3 years of AE experience
Bachelor’s degree required (business, marketing, or advertising strongly preferred)
