Local Unit & Position Description:
Primary tasks of this role:
- Close monitoring of ageing of AR in the Market of Middle East and Africa.
- Provides details behind AR KPIs.
- Prioritizes AR efforts where payback is greatest when needed.
- Manages the forecast of AR positions towards YE.
- Works closely with the Business Controllers and BA Center resources and identify actions to improve the AR situation.
- Develops close relationships with relevant stakeholders including Project Managers, Colleagues in the Finance & Performance organization (Regional and BA Center) and in GSS Finance.
- Conducts review meetings with relevant PMs in cooperation with project controllers.
- Executes the BA AR processes and liaisons with relevant GSS point of contact, including investigating issues and facilitating internal communication.
- Follows up of outstanding AR following agreed regional procedure to maximize cash flow.
- Communicates effectively with customers to support the reduction of outstanding AR.
- Participates in customer A/R meetings when relevant.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Essential: Very high level of English
- Excellent Excel skills
- Communicate effectively, is pragmatic, builds strong relationships and is able to influence and act strategically
- Ability to create trust through robust delivery and strong relationship building
- Have the ability to respect and understand cultural diversity and be able to communicate and relate to a number of people at different levels
- Demonstrate foresight – know what is happening in the market, how will it impact us and what do we do to adapt to it
- Keep a positive and proactive attitude, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Be self-motivated, resilient and cope with work pressure
- Strong communicator and high competence in managing sensitive topics professionally serving DNV’s interest
- Strong ability to prioritize and initiate relevant measures to support the working capital situation.
