Job Tittle:  Warehouse & Procurement In-Charge

 

Full Job Description :- 

• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
• Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
• Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• ordering of necessary goods on time as per the sales pattern and follow up of the order till its receipt
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• · Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Optimize inventory performance via trend forecasting
• Update information in our vendor management system
• Maintain and process documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:-

Ø Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

Ø Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

Ø Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed

Ø Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention

Ø Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages

Salary: AED 4,000.00 – AED 7,000.00 per month
