We are currently recruiting for a Rotating Equipment Technician to support our team in Abu Dhabi. This position provides technical assistance in the repair and maintenance of various rotating equipment in the workshop or at the customer sites.

Job Responsibilities:-

Maintain and care for all equipment, tooling and machines used.
Work independently and assists other technicians in the workshop or at customer sites in the strip down, clean, inspect, repair and assembly various compressors.
Will be strip down and rebuilding compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines and generators.
Clearance checks for aforementioned equipment. – Records repair work, inventories parts and informs Supervisor of new parts required.
Ensure that all work has been completed, inspected and signed off before passing on the next operation.
Ensure that the workarea remains a clean a safe working environment with input into the company performance against the annual HSE plan.
Performs other related field, maintenance or shop duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills / Knowledge:-

QC understanding of dimensional check and precision measuring equip.
Knowledge of maintenance of rotating equipment
Sound understanding of the use of high pressure hydraulic tooling
Sound mechanical understanding with all or some of the following: o Geometrical and dimensional checks o Visual inspection of rotating equipment
Knowledge and ability to operate various rotating equipment special tools
Good knowledge of all associated codes and regulations dealing with rotating equipment.
Good communication skills in English language, both verbal and written.
Basic mathematics skills.
Basic understanding of Rotor concentricity checks, NDT and Balancing checks

Experience:-

Minimum 3 years previous experience in rotating equipment

Education Requirements:-

ITI in Mechanical Fitters + NCVT.
Diploma is mechanical discipline preferred, although not essential.

Physical Requirements:-

Required physical fitness to use and operate workshop related tools and equipment
Light manual handling would also be required for day-to-day works
Should be physically fit to work on ADNOC sites – onshore & offshore.
May require travel across the Middle East and GCC countries
