Your opportunity:-

Based in Dubai, the Store Manager supports the development of the Kering Brands’ business by implementing and running best-in-class logistics solutions across the region (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) in the areas of warehousing, transportation and customs.

Leading the MEA Logistics Team, they run regional logistics operations respecting agreed timings, costs and service levels and in full compliance with local laws, rules and regulations. They spearhead the integration of new flows, channels, and Brands in alignment with the global logistics and supply chain strategies, act as the key expert for logistics matters in the region and are the primary point of contact between Kering operations and Brands.

 

How you will contribute:-

• Develop the regional warehouse in the Dubai FTZ, implementing new storage solutions, flows and processes
• Develop and run the regional transportation network (air, road, express)
• Monitor the product import or export processes and ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and customs requirements.
• Develop SOPs, KPIs and metrics, develop and enhance performance monitoring solutions
• Proactively monitor end-to-end performance, quality and cost to meet and exceed targets
• Liaise and negotiate with logistics providers, perform RFPs for provider selection, develop carrier integration and perform periodic business reviews
• Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization by continuously identifying key areas for improvement
• Forecast, budget and control logistics costs and perform analyses and projections to support business decisions
• Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with Group targets
• Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes

 

Who you are:-

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Fashion / Luxury company or a Logistics Service Provider
• Knowledge of customs operations and import/export particularities of the Fashion and Luxury industry required
• Fluent English spoken and written; Arabic, French or Italian knowledge would be a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
• Proactive approach in finding innovative solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• “Multi-tasking” approach with capability to define the right priorities
• Ability and willingness to travel within the countries of the Region of responsibility
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
