Leadership

• Supports the Principal and Vice Principal in the implementation of the campus’s policies, procedures, and processes

• Leads, trains, guides and supports teachers and coordinators in the levels and oversees their career development in conjunction with the Principal and Vice Principal, making recommendations for appropriate in-service training

• Provides direction and advice to the Academic Coordinators and teachers

Functional :- 

• Oversees the curriculum planning and development in the campus

• Responsible for the joint curriculum planning and execution and coordinates the formulation of lesson plan by teachers and Academic Coordinators

• Reviews the annual curriculum framework shared by the Academic Coordinators, and seeks approval by the Principal

• Ensures that teachers are planning and teaching according to the lesson plans

• Supports in the planning and execution of all major school events

• Provides orientation workshops to new teachers to develop them professionally

• Improves the quality of instructions through conferences, meetings and consultations

• Participates directly in formulation of objectives, preparation of teaching guides and instructional aids as well as organizing of demonstration of teaching methods to support classroom teachers

• Explores systematic services, experiments and case studies and current practice and recommend changes in the same

• Ensures the curriculum is fully covered in the academic year

Interaction  :- 

• Acts as the go-to person for Academic Advisory

• Works closely with the National Head, Academic to stay up to date with the changes in the curriculum

People Focus :- 

• Monitors the KPIs of the Academic Coordinators, Head of Department and Teachers

• Provides ongoing guidance and advice to all teachers to grow professionally

• Participates in the appraisal of Academic Coordinators, Head of Department and Teachers

• Supports the Principal and Vice Principal in succession planning of Academic Coordinators, Head of Department and Teachers

• Collaborates proactively with Human Resource to continuously increase competency within the function to meet future organizations needs through the development and recruitment of talent function

• Assist in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of teachers

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Master’s (Required)

Experience:

• Supervision: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• B.ed Degree (Required)
