• Cisco MPLS. (Multi Protocol Label Switching)

• BGP routing. (Border Gateway Protocol)

• In-depth protocol analysis with tools such as tcpdump

• Develop LAN/WAN network designs to accommodate a data center migration

• Setup, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocol, routing/switching configurations and firewall technologies

• Assess and troubleshoot Cisco routing/switching platforms and IOS

• Evaluate and diagnose issues with network topologies such as Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, GbE VLAN, and SONET

• Implement converged networks to include VoIP, VTC and QoS methods

• Configure and troubleshoot content switching and load balancers

• Troubleshooting complex network issues such as performance analysis, protocol problems, hardware failures and WAN/LAN connectivity issues

• Participate in the implementation of agreed upon solutions and strategies

• Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources

• Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems

• Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects

• Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality

• Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management Hands on experience in Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Cisco or other networking devices

• Expert knowledge and hands on experience in implementing and troubleshooting routing protocols [BGP, EIGRP and OSPF].

• implementing and troubleshooting switching Technologies [ Nexus / Catalyst switches, FEX, VPC, STP, VTP, VLAN, Ether channel, HSRP, Switch QoS etc. ]

• troubleshooting Security Technologies [ FTD, ASA, ISE, VPN, IPS, Traffic Analysis, Vulnerability assessment etc.]

• Hands on experience in any of the Web security products such as Barracuda, Zscaler, Websense, Umbrella etc.

• any of the Load Balancers such as Citrix Netscaler, F5, and WAN Optimizer products such as Riverbed Steel head

• Experience in integrating/establishing connectivity to Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.

• Basic knowledge on VoIP technologies like Cisco Call Manager is a big Plus [ Optional ]

• Experience in network monitoring and logging tools (Wireshark, Kiwi Syslog, Solar Winds, Scrutinizer etc.) and network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.
