Job Description :-
Expeditor :-
- Responsible for expediting delivery of goods and materials to meet required delivery times as set out in the Purchase Orders.
- Coordinates desk and field expediting efforts.
- Coordinates required shipping documentation to ensure shipment takes place to set delivery schedules.
- Liaise with Suppliers via various communication methods including where necessary, expediting visits.
- Monitor packages to identify potential improvements in delivery times and highlight to the team for discussion.
- Identify potential slippages to mitigate effects and propose measures to deal with slippages.
- Understands the details and implications of PO Terms and Conditions.
- Understands the importance of an audit trail and the required documentation to ensure the trail is proper and complete.
- Must have extensive experience of applications used in the expediting effort as well an other standard applications such as MS Office etc.
- Minimum of 5 years specific expediting experience is required.
