As we continue to drive our success story in the region we are looking for a new team member for the Marketing Manager role EEMEA based in Dubai.
Your new role:
The Marketing Manager (MM) works upstream with EMEA Marketing and downstream with the Business Managers. Partnering with EEMEA Business Managers & Distributors and the EMEA Regional Marketing Group, the Marketing Manager will develop the commercial marketing strategies and plans for the annual business cycle and help with the implementation of the strategic planning with the BMs. he or she will be responsible for all marketing actions and promotions of the territory. This role is blending commercial leadership, with an ability to help identify new growth opportunities as well as organizational leadership with strong collaboration skills. He or she would be an IVD experienced person , aware of the majority of the markets of EEMEA and have previous experience with interacting with distributors.
Upstream in collaboration with EMEA marketing is responsible for acquiring all the product knowledge and updates together with the team of product specialists. Upstream, the MM escalates the cluster position and priorities on new portfolio pipeline and life cycle management (LCM) decisions.
Downstream, the MM deploys regional marketing strategies (customer-centered and solution-oriented) supporting the company goals and its local implementation and adaptation that may include presentations and delivery of local trainings or other Marketing activities such the organization of educational webinars, and trials. Responsible for the availability of all relevant marketing material. Together with the PS team timely transfers all product updates to BMs, Sales and Distributors. The cluster launch of new products, leading multidisciplinary plans to ensure launch readiness, is an important part of the role.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating, Rolling out & Updating Marcomms, Marketing Collaterals and Sales Tools in line with current WW Branding Guidelines.
Meets regularly with distributors & customers in critical markets to understand concerns and key challenges and provide presentations and strategic and segmentation trainings
Competitive overview including differentiation and forthcoming developments in competitive offerings.
Market dynamics analysis from identified primary and secondary data sources to understand new opportunities and changes in regulations that impact on our current and future portfolio offering.
Ability to understand key focus segments in key markets to ensure customization and delivery of EEMEA Commercial Strategy to ensure these are developed and executed by working with EEMEA Distributors.
Develop marketing plan for region in line with EEMEA commercial priorities and assisting in the development and updating of tools to track the implementation of the strategy. Ensure delivery of key marketing projects on brief on budget and on time. Promotional campaigns in line with EMEA commercial priorities especially in driving New Product Introductions (NPI).
Manages and coaches a product specialist team to develop in their roles and delegates to them the appropriate tasks described earlier in the extend needed in order that they are executed timely and efficiently.
Contributes to the commercial organization development by supporting Learning and Development (L&D) activities as subject matter expert.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Either scientific degree (healthcare related) with business positions experience or business degree (e.g. MBA) with healthcare industry experience.
Either 3 years of regional marketing/commercial experience in IVD OR medical device industry interacting partly or totally with distributors OR 7 years in local marketing roles within EEMEA and IVD industry.
Experience with people management is a big advantage.
Proficiency in English is a must, French and/or Arabic are pluses.
Up to 65%, international within EEMEA.
