Full Job Description :- 

We are seeking for a procurement specialist for one of our clients.

-Handling overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility.
-Implementing procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and
optimum value for money.
-Performing all procurement and contracting activities including pre-
qualification tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts.
-Organizing tender-board meetings to secure approvals for high value
purchases.
-Identifying cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals and
recording the savings.
-Preparing periodic reports for Management and Finance department.
-Preparing spent reports for Plant turnaround activities, projects and Major
emergency repairs.
-Planning and preparing procurement strategies for Plant turnaround activities,
Minor projects and Emergency repairs.
-Implementing company policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and
cost-effective procurement process for the business.
-Developing relationships with suppliers and strategic supply partners to
improve procurement process.
-Researching and identifying potential suppliers to improve cost efficiency and
delivery.
-Coordinating with Global and Regional procurement teams for strategic
procurement updates and implementation.
-Handling critical and high value international purchases.
-Creating Purchase requisitions and issuing Purchase orders.
-Tracking purchase orders, verifying and providing procurement clearance for
invoices to initiate payment process.
-supporting finance department for clearing payments and supplier invoices
related issues.
-Coordinating with warehouse for timely issuance of goods receipt after
material inspection.
-Coordination and support to logistics team to assure smooth and timely
delivery.
