Petrofac is looking to recruit a Senior IT Analyst – Engineering Systems to join our Petrofac International based in Sharjah, UAE.

Main purpose of the role:
Support global operations primarily in Engineering applications and ensure high application uptime and business resilience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implementation & operations support of CAD design tools.
- Manage Implementation of Project setup & configurations for Commercial off the shelf products from key vendors Hexagon, AVEVA, Bentley, Aspentech & Autodesk etc.
- Solution design & Support of Cloud hosting of applications for Global Users & Third-party users.
- Ensuring Proper License & Inventory management, Utilization & Optimization.
- Work with Business Partners, alongside Applications Technical Delivery Teams, Software Vendors, Customers, and other relevant third parties to help IT System projects
- Accountable for planning, identifying, and mitigating risk during system transitions / upgrades, and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users. Support end user transition throughout ‘Go Live’
- Provide Technical support & guidance on Application procurement matters.
- Ensure proper change management followed in implementations & operations support
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for day-to-day operational issues in all engineering applications portfolio.
- Periodic audits on Performance of Engineering applications & Databases.
- Internal & External audit support to maintain proper License compliance & Access controls.
- Conduct periodic knowledge sharing sessions & Trainings for teams Internal /External.
- To build strong relationships with the key business stakeholders and follow IT demand management process of capturing, documenting, suggesting potential alternatives if needed, prioritizing and reporting on ongoing initiatives in alignment to IT policies and guidelines.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering form an accredited college/ university.
- 7+ years within professional, enterprise level Organization and Experience in System administration of Oil & Gas EPC company related Engineering Tools.
- Experience in Implementation & Operations support of Engineering Applications from any Hexagon, AVEVA, Autodesk & Bentley portfolio of applications.
- Training certificates in relevant software application and technologies is desirable.
- Having an exposure in Programming, Cloud or Citrix technologies is an added advantage
