Position : Debt Collector

Location : Ajman, UAE

Years of experience : 3-4 years in the similar role

Job Description

Scope of the role

Responsible for collection of recovering money owed by the debtors in as per the due dates.

Qualifications, Experience, and skills:-

· Commerce / Finance degree with 3 – 4 yrs experience in the accounting function as a debt collector

· Should be a NATIVE ARABIC SPEAKER

· Experience in working with targets and deadlines

· Has sound knowledge in financial accounting

· Has basic knowledge about UAE market and industry with respect to financial rules and regulations

· Good analytical skills, apt in negation and persuading

· Polite and sensitive to people while also to remain committed to collect within due dates

· Excellent communication skills and sense of urgency

Job Profile:-

· Keeps track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts

· Plans course of action to recover outstanding payments

· Locates and contacts debtors to inquire of their payment status

· Negotiates payoff deadlines or payment plans

· Handles questions or complaints

· Investigates and resolves discrepancies

· Creates trust in relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues

· Updates account status and database regularly

· Alerts superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary

· Complies with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

· Reports frequently to finance manager and managing director

Key deliverables:-

· Collection as per the target

· Zero write off

· Reduced legal cases

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
