Job Summary:

Establish and maintain constructive relationships with Account Management and Logistic Teams by understanding their current and future intelligence requirements. To design, develop & maintain a robust business intelligence platform that can facilitate information gathering, processing, reporting and analysis. To support & formulate Liner and BCO retention strategy along with new acquisition plans by identifying new geographies and verticals of interest that can contribute to the growth of DP World UAE Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Trade Intelligence –
• Structure reporting, dashboards & intelligence capability. Comprehensive review & analytics of trade flows at Jebel Ali by assessing the various Carriers and their cargo flow patterns, trading partners, commodities, BCOs’ and other key drivers which ensures sustainable flow of cargo for the port of Jebel Ali.
• Business Retention & Growth –
• Identify volume / revenue risks and opportunities for Jebel Ali both from a terminal operator as well as a logistical service provider perspective. Recommend retention and trade development strategies for the both Transhipment as well as OND based customers.
• Trade Solutions –
• Assist towards creation of customized port and logistics solutions for our customers respective trade flows by conducting comprehensive review of supply chain analytics and developing business sales plans & proper customer segmentation as agreed with management.
• Product Development 
• -Identify new geographies & verticals and generate leads for Logistics team to target emerging markets and inturn grow our presence in the wider GCC region. Further identify products that can be a game changer for Dubai
• Value Props –
• Formulation of business presentations (liner/customer centric) contribute towards development of content for Account Managers & Logistics related marketing collateral.
• Yield Improvement –
• Conduct regular tariff benchmarking exercise/studies on the various products & services offered by competitors in the region and highlight the related opportunities & risks followed with a mitigation plan as deemed necessary.
• Market Review –
• Responsible for collation and dissemination of Economic & Supply chain information. Review global, regional and local economies, key contributors and geopolitical environment across all key economic, trade & industrial indicators.
• Budgeting –
• Responsible for creation of volume budget and business forecast models for Jebel Ali’s with periodic reforecasts as required.
• Data Enhancement –
• Responsible for reviewing and evaluating data accuracy and liaising IT to address inconsistencies and ensure continuous improvement in the data accuracy and availability of internal and external resources
