This International School founded in 2016, is currently open from KG to Grade 8 however, will organically grow to reach Grade 12. They are seeking progressive Teachers who can develop their school into one of the premier international schools in the region. Teachers will be supervised with strong professional development together with in-school mentoring.
This campus has already achieved an elevated level of sophistication with the employment, development and retention of outstanding teachers and staff. Rigorous standards for both curriculum and instruction are embedded in the philosophy and structure of the school.
The school is accredited with the NESA (Near South East Asia) Council for International Schools (Worldwide).

The Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in the whole-school implementation and organization of the academic program, in close collaboration with the Vice Principal. Is responsible for the facilitation of a developing Middle School provision that is collaboratively planned, communicated, taught, and assessed. The Coordinator is a member of the school’s leadership team.
Participates in the implementation and maintenance of a Middle School provision
Bringing together subject teachers in collaborative teams to develop units of inquiry
Lead the development of the vertical articulation of curriculum from primary to middle years, which includes planning for aims and objectives, key and related concepts and content, knowledge and skills
Leads the school’s process in reviewing the middle school curriculum including unit plans and lesson planning documents.
Developing, coordinating, and overseeing assessment strategies
Oversees and records the preparation and presentation of Middle School culmination and community projects
Overall coordination of Middle School field trips and other activities
Ensures monitoring of teaching and learning in accordance with New York State, IB, and KHDA expectations
Assessing and supporting professional development needs particularly Clarion’s progressive practices
Allocating meeting time for planning, timetabling, or scheduling
Preparing for regular program evaluation by external evaluators in conjunction with the Head of School External Evaluations
Relevant middle management curriculum experience is required for this role. Ideally you will be a Middle school specialist.
Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field
Candidates with progressive school experience preferred (PBL, IBPYP or MYP, or Montessori/Reggio Emilia)
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the same subject that matches your qualification
US Common Core Curriculum experience preferred
Preference will be given to candidates holding a North American teaching qualification
Teachers should demonstrate outstanding communication skills, be a flexible team player with a strong teaching philosophy and commitment for educational improvement.
Salary and benefits:
Salary – AED 18,000 AED per month
Housing stipend – AED 3,750 (USD1020) per month
Paid summer and holidays
End of service bonus according to the UAE regulations
