The Business Development function is undergoing rapid growth globally with ambitions to double its size over the coming year.

The Role

We are looking for a Assistant to join an already successful sales team to focus on business development in Dubai. This role will support on executing on our Middle East growth strategy for new business already in progress. As a part of our growing global Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying new prospects, determining appropriate sales channels, and demonstrating the ICIS’ value proposition for new partnerships.

Key Qualifications

• Experience in proactive outbound value-based solution selling
• Significant experience in commercial execution, not necessarily in petrochemicals/energy markets
• Extensive experience of C-level commercial negotiations
• Proven track record of leading discussions in value-based, customer-centric buying methodologies, exceeding objectives, and financial goals
• Strategic thinker and market expert: Accountable for identifying growth opportunities, defining strategies, prioritizing sales plays, and developing go-to-market execution plans
• Experienced in working cross-functionally to create high performance organisations
• Passionate about a world-class customer experience

Description

• Lead business development activities and create strategies and plans to deliver significant growth to the region.
• Develop industry knowledge to lead with insights, educate potential customers to establish value-based partnerships.
• Lead strategic conversations with C Level and demonstrate value in our solutions.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and close key deals that help grow the footprint of ICIS.
• Effectively build, manage, and close a sales pipeline of qualified customers for ICIS services.
