Calibration Supervisor – Dubai
Department: Calibration
Job Location: UAE
Experience: 5 years +
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the test and calibration laboratory according to business objectives and in accordance with ISO:9001 and ISO:17025 quality standards
- Providing technical expertise during onsite customer visits, meetings and supporting training events
- Ensure impartiality and confidentiality of job scope activities
- Ensure all enquiries, tenders, contracts review before acceptance of job scope
- Reporting statement of conformity, opinions and interpretations based on customer requirements
- Authorizing amendment to certificates / reports issued based on customer requirements
- Responsible for EIAC Accredited Calibration as per ISO/IEC 17025, ISO :9001 of latest version with reference to National/International standard or laboratory developed methods
- Responsible for Standard Calibration as per latest version with reference to National/International standard or laboratory developed methods
- Responsible for updating the list of standards on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for proper planning and scheduling for Laboratory Instrument Services including maintenance, repair, validation and calibration of laboratory instruments
- Ensuring that where applicable an adequate control system in place and maintained.
- Assign jobs to engineers and technicians as per job tracking sheet with proper planning
- Review and check all worksheets/service reports properly.
- Check and review all the calibration certificate hard copy
- Responsible for standard instruments and their calibration plan.
Requirements:
Experience in Calibration and servicing of following systems and parameters.
- Pressure Instruments: Pressure Gauge, Diff. Pressure Gauge & Transmitter, Vacuum Gauge & Transmitter, Pressure Switch, Compound Gauge, I/P Converter
- Temperature Instruments: Temp. Sensor RTD, Thermocouple & Transmitter, Glass Thermometer, Digital Thermometer, Humidity Sensor, Temperature Transmitter, Oven, Furnace, BOD Incubator, Autoclave, Thermocouple Sensor of Chiller Freezer, Temp Calibrator etc.
- Electrical Instruments: Multimeter, Clamp meter, Volt Meter AC/DC, Ampere Meter AC/DC, Earth Tester, Insulation Tester, Digital Temp. Controller/Indicator, PID Controller
- Linear & Mass Instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, dial indicator, coating thickness gauge and calibration of test weights Up to E Class, Calibration of weighing Balance in different ranges.
- Fire and Gas detection system servicing
- Portable Gas detectors
- UTI Tape
