STEP IT Institute Dubai Knowledge Village: Job Description
Job Tittle: Coding Teacher
Job Description :-
Required work experience: minimum 2 years
Summer Camp, Part-time, flexible hours
STEP IT Institute requires the Teacher to know two of the following subjects:
Lego Mindstorm EV3,
Arduino,
Unity3D (3D Game Development),
Blender (3D Modeling),
Anime Studio/Moho Pro (Animation),
Wondershare Filmora (Video Editing),
Python (Programming),
Construct 3 (2D Game Development)
Responsibilities:
1) Conduct group training sessions for children 8-15 years old in the following areas:
– Lego, – Arduino, – Unity, – Anime, – Python, – 3D modeling, – video editing.
2) Monitor the effectiveness of each child’s learning
3) Timely check homework, work with an electronic journal
4) Conduct additional individual lessons
5) Advise students and their parents on educational issues (curriculum, software, homework, etc.)
6) Conduct selling events (master classes, open lessons, open days)
7) Develop and/or correct the available teaching materials
Requirements:
- Having practical experience (at the level of a confident user) and a portfolio in one of the areas will be an advantage
- Experience in working with children (counselors, teacher assistants, individual tutors) – will be an advantage
- Public speaking skills
- Responsible approach
- Interest in teaching / transferring experience
