Work location : Dubai
Responsibilities :
Create, maintain and monitor comprehensive project management plan (e.g. charter, communication plan, timeline, RACI matrix, risk register, issue register, etc.)
Execute the project management plan and lead the project team(s) to deliver the project(s) on time, within budget and with quality
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs as per the organizational change management process
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and keep the risk register updated
Report and escalate issues as needed and document all issues in the issue register with corrective & preventive actions
Track, monitor and control all project actions and decisions and escalate any high priority concerns to management in a timely fashion
Manage an excellent relationship with all stakeholders and understand & meet their diverse expectations
Work with project owner and QA to ensure that the project meets the required quality standards
Undertake status review meetings with project team members and stakeholders and prepare weekly status reports
Undertake steering committee meeting with project sponsor, owner and senior management Ability to Manage multiple projects in parallel without compromising quality
Ability to influence conflicting needs of various stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely delivery
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Management or a related field
Minimum 12 years of experience with a minimum of 8 years IT projects.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a must
Familiarity with Agile methodologies & Microsoft Project & Office Tools
Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and conflict management ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Experience working for large and established global IT companies
Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules and resolve technical & project issues creatively.
