Functions:-
Manage and carry out the objectives established for the Work in the conditions of the Contract in relation to the execution of the construction.
Establish and channel relationships with the Client’s representative at the Works, Subcontractors and local Organizations, so as to ensure the quality of the service.
Resolve conflicts or incidents that arise in the Work, informing the Project Director and the Head of the Construction Department when it comes to matters within their competence.
Establish the Work detail program and plan the necessary resources to carry out the Construction work in accordance with the general program of the project.
Establish the organization of the Work in accordance with the Project Director, informing the Head of the Construction Department about it.
Manage the human team assigned to the Work in accordance with the criteria and guidelines given by the Human Resources Department, as well as the material resources owned by INITEC in the Work.
Propose to the Project Director the hiring of temporary personnel for the Works team charged to the Project.
Establish the operating procedures and specific instructions not covered by the general procedures of the project that may be specified in the Work, as well as the particular criteria to be taken into account. • Ensure that the Work team has the specifications, procedures, instructions and regulations that will be used in it.
Ensure that the Construction team complies with the provisions of the contract clauses, the Client’s requirements and the Quality Plan.
Control compliance with the program of activities, costs, quality levels, safety, regulations and established procedures, and implement the necessary corrective actions in each case.
Direct and coordinate the Work groups among themselves to:
Ensure the satisfactory completion of the construction and assembly work.
Control the progress of the Work activities and ensure that the milestones of the program are met.
Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to achieve the adequacy of their programs, referring to the delivery of construction plans and supply of equipment and materials, to the needs of the Work.
Manage the construction and assembly subcontracts and obtain from the Subcontractors the availability of adequate human and material resources for the fulfillment of the agreed work programs.
Lead the meetings with the Subcontractors to activate and monitor the work carried out by them, resolving priority conflicts between Subcontractors.
Resolve, with the collaboration of those responsible for the Work groups and the Work Quality manager, the conflicts generated by the non-conformity reports and promote the implementation of the necessary corrective actions.
Approve the Work certifications and the minutes of provisional reception of the construction and assembly works presented by the Subcontractors.
Approve the processing to the Project Engineering of the requests for design modifications.
Issue monthly Work reports in the manner established in the Project.
Carry out the economic management of the Work Center and/or the Construction Fund, ensuring proper compliance with the established regulations.
Ensure, when appropriate, the delivery of the mechanically finished circuits or parts of the installation to Commissioning, in an appropriately documented manner, expressly mentioning that all the activities and tests contractually established have been carried out.
Obtain from the Client, when appropriate, the approval of the protocols and documentation for the completion of works and assemblies, as well as the provisional reception of the facilities that are the object of the Contract, and support the Project Director until the definitive reception is obtained.
Carry out a report at the end of the Work that collects the experiences in the Work as well as data (quantities, yields, hours, etc. of the different contractors) and that serve as references for design improvements, changes in normalization and standardization, etc. ., in offers, ongoing projects and future contracts.
Requirements:-
