Job Tittle:  Senior Accountant

 

Full Job Description :- 

We need candidate with pure Shipping and Logistics experience only this is a immediately hire and kindly apply if your eligible looking forward from you!!!!!!

Ø Report to the Deputy General Manager

Ø Make day to day entries same day itself

Ø Communicate with H.O

Ø Preparation of invoice on a daily basis (Job Cards)

Ø Complete monthly storage billing before 5th of every month

Ø Dispatch the invoice on time to the customer, get the acknowledgement and file it properly.

Ø Preparing the sales man wise sales report upon completion of monthly billing and submitting to management and individual sales person on or before 8thof every month.

Ø Manage the petty cash & claim the petty cash on daily basis with proper supporting documents.

Ø The deposit slips of both cheque and cash deposits have to be filed on daily basis.

Ø Analyze the fund position of the company and manage it effectively to run the daily operations.

Ø Timely follow up of accounts receivables for payment transfers/collection and managing the accounts payables.

Ø To review the accounts receivables with sales staff and seeking their involvement when the payment is delayed.

Ø To share the daily finance report to the management

Ø Weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank account to be done with filing of the report.

Ø Collect the reimbursement of personal loan from staffs once the salary is credited and same to be deposited in the bank.

Ø Get approval for each quotation from the manager and issuing LPO for various purchases made from the supplier/vendors.

Ø Check the salik balance and recharge it and submit monthly salik report to management.

Ø To top up the DP World and CDR accounts maintained by the company upon management approval.

Ø To pay the entire utility bills on time like DEWA, DU & Etisalat etc.

Ø Monthly reconciliation of JAFZA account

Ø Reconciliation of CDR account has to be done for every five days period along with monthly reconciliation.

Ø Reconciliation of DP account has to be done for every five days period along with monthly reconciliation.

Ø To ensure all the expenses pertaining to a shipment is booked job wise in the same month itself upon checking with the invoicing date and to book under ‘Provision for expenses’ where required.

Ø Calculate the monthly depreciation of assets and recording in the books of accounts.

Ø Cross check the unconfirmed and uninvoiced jobs from start of the year till end of the closing month by verifying the genuinity of the remarks shared from the functional operations department.

Ø Pass all the necessary entries pertaining to closing the books of accounts and forwarding the P&L account to the management on or before8th of every month.

Ø To forward the management reports by 10th of every month as per the requirement.

Ø To ensure that all the contracts are renewed on time.

Ø Apply and renew the medical insurance of staffs within the specified time.

Ø Open salary account/salary prepay card for new staffs and cancel the salary prepay card once the visa is cancelled.

Ø To ensure to maintain the staff welfare fund.

Ø Get leave clearance form of staffs who are proceeding for annual vacation and ensure proper hand over sheet is signed and collected.

Ø All the records to be maintained properly (Filing of Payment / Receipt Vouchers/ Petty Cash) and all the old records after audit needs to be properly marked and moved for storage.

Ø Maintenance of stationeries like Invoice, Job card, Delivery Note, Letter head etc.

Ø To ensure that back up for all financial data is maintained.

Ø Responsible to adhere the rules and regulations of the management.

Ø To ensure that all the outstanding dues are collected before final cargo release is issued.

Ø To ensure that all the supporting is attached for the goods purchased (Delivery Note, approved Material request)

Ø To prepare request letter for getting approval from Directors.

Ø To prepare request letter for all the quotations for HO approval.

Ø To keep the passport of all staffs under safe custody and release the passport only when the approval is taken from HO

Salary: AED7,000.00 – AED9,500.00 per month
