Job Description
The Architectural Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of district cooling systems and thermal energy storage. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of control systems, heat transfer and computational fluid Dynamics. The candidate should be able to design, fabricate and install experimental setups related to air conditioning systems and have hands on experience with data acquisition systems. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in systems.experimental research with a master degree in relevant field.
Minimum Qualification:-
An appropriate educational degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following:
- Skilled in data acquisition
- Ability to simulate conjugate heat transfer Problems
- Good technical writing skills
- Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.
Preferred Qualification:-
- Command of Ansys Fluent
- Command Labview and Matlab
- Demonstrable willingness to support work in the lab
- Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
- Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace
