Job Tittle:  Home Care Registered Nurse

 

Job Description :- 

Provides skilled professional nursing care to the patient as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations as established Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, the patient, and the policies of the Organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Seeks and obtains sufficient information necessary to function effectively in the health care setting where assigned.

2. Initiates and sustains the implementation of orders for medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician’s Plan of Care.

3. Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing procedures and techniques and maintains medication regarding patient care with the physician and com supervisory personnel.

4. Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant patient’s condition and care given. Clinical notes regarding

5. Observes the patient for changes in condition and reports these changes and the patients’ needs to the attending physician and appropriate supervisory personnel.

6. Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient’s efforts for self-sufficiency and independence.

7. Provides instructions on disease process, medication, diet, safety and other instructions as ordered by the physician and for health counselling with recognizes and utilizes opportunities patient and families/caregivers.

8. Works in cooperation with the family/caregiver and home care team members to meet the emotional needs of the patient and family/caregiver and makes referrals as appropriate.

9. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development and maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practice skills through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-service classes.

10. Maintains patient confidentiality.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with home country (PRC) license

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least two years experience as Registered Nurse.

 

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

1. With HAAD/DOH License or must be qualified to take the HAAD

2. Must have a home country license with 2 years work experience (Present)

3. Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.

4. Has excellent observation, oral and written communications kills.

5. Is dependable, organized, flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
