Job Title :– Assistant Licensing Officer

Job Description :-
Under direct supervision, assists with all aspects of credentialing and licensing legislation for physicians and medical professional staff, premises licenses, equipment licenses, etc.
Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards
1.Assists in arranging MOH registration application licenses for all clinical and technical staff and reviews all applied documents with the supervisor to verify compliance with the required qualifications (personal data, educational degrees, previous experience certificates)
2.Contacts the selected physician after obtaining approval on their applications to complete the process.
3.Drafts the required correspondence to request personal interview appointment for the clinical and technical staff; and revise it with the supervisor.
4.Assists with the completion of the personal file for the mentioned staff in relation to preparation of appointment decisions, follows up of signing the employment contracts, data – entry of all their personal information into the current software system.
5.Follows up with representatives the procedures in the Health Licensure department in the Ministry of Health in Kuwait and the work process (personal file completion, medical check-up, the certificates evaluation from the higher institute, etc.) and reports it to the supervisor.
6.Maintains an updated database of the work process; checks licenses in relation to issuance, renewal and termination; coordinates with the supervisor and follows up with representatives.
7.Assists with other duties regarding the General Assembly, Kuwait Municipal.
8.Submits the requested reports whenever needed.
9.Works on self-professional development throughout self-training programs and readings,
10.Improves the professional communications with work mates.
11.Maintains top confidentiality for all the information coming to their knowledge.
12.Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) and HR best practices are complied.
13.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
