Your role as a UI/Maintenance Manager :-

G4S’s main focus is in the travel industry: airlines, ground and sea transportation, and onboard Wi-Fi connectivity and entertainment. Great design and experience is critical in bringing the benefits of our solutions to our customers’ customers. We are looking for a UI/Maintenance Manager ‘s who is a forward thinkers, problem solvers and lovers of all things design to join our growing team of designers.

As a UI/Maintenance Manager , a primary success-driver will be your empathy with users, creative and analytical thinking and understanding of human behavior and psychology. You will be a part of a cross-functional team, designing user research activities and conceptualizing solutions based on research insights and translating those into functional prototypes and high-fidelity designs.

Responsibilities within the role:-

Work collaboratively with internal, customer, and third-party stakeholders and decision-makers on the execution of design and experience
Conduct user- and market research and identify patterns based on data trends and market as well as technology capabilities and target audience demographics
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/apps function and look like
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders (low-fidelity wire frames)
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Package the design deliverables for Designs, style guides and assets in a very organised manner

Skills required for the UI/Maintenance Manager :-

Proven experience inspiring clients and turning ideas into world-class experiences
Previous experience working in an agency or for a consultancy
Demonstrable experience as a UI/Maintenance Manager or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Native mobile experience is highly desirable
A solid background facilitating and effectively running stakeholder workshops
Knowledge of Human-Centered Design principles
Experience working in an Agile environment is an advantage
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. FIGMA, Wireframe.cc, Sketch and InVision, etc.)
Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and Human interaction guidelines for both iOS and Android
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders (developers as well as senior stakeholders)
Excellent time-management skills and ability to produce quickly
