Country Delivery Operations Manager – Projects

We are looking for Delivery Operations Manager who will successfully drive the installation business in UAE working in close collaboration with customers and colleagues and reporting directly to the Managing Director. In this role, you will lead the site delivery teams to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality, and profitable execution of the delivery projects, leading to customer satisfaction and fulfilment of KONE business objectives. You will actively manage portfolio performance in terms of progress against schedule, planning accuracy, productivity, safety, and quality performance.

Main Responsibilities for the role include:

Drive efficient, safe, and high-quality installation operations ensuring appropriate use of KONE installation methods and KONE Way operations management practices

Drive profitable, reliable and efficient project management practices in line with KONE methods

Ensure accuracy of schedule, revenue and cost planning as per country policy

Proactive identification and execution of value-added services and change order opportunities

Develop and implement the strategy for the delivery operations business to achieve budgeted targets

Manage customer relationships, disputes and escalations, track NPI and transactional survey

Work actively to understand customer priorities and changes in their competitive landscape

Drive change initiatives ensuring business benefit realization and promoting customer centricity with outside-in thinking

Monitor financial performance, report results, and identify areas of improvement

Build a culture that embraces quality, safety, and excellence in project delivery

Organize and operate regular portfolio and operational reviews to manage project and installation performance

Manage the Delivery Operations team, ensuring competence and optimized deployment/ allocation of the resources

Requirements

Engineering degree holder with mechanical/electrical background

Proven technical and commercial knowledge in leading delivery operations teams in a matrix environment

Experience managing multiple sites with a sizable team of project managers and site engineers.

Experience in project management of multi-disciplined projects

Contract, planning, and financial management experience with a strong focus on managing project cost and revenue

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to assess processes, recommend and drive changes when needed

Digital assertiveness: comfortable and excited about the opportunities KONE digital solutions can bring

Results driven with strong commercial acumen. Able to demonstrate sound financial management and resource utilization and forecast accurately

An effective leader and coach with the ability to motivate a successful team

GCC experience is required
