UL Due Diligence Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our advisory team of international experts who are passionate about making the world a more sustainable place!
What you’ll learn & achieve:-
As a Senior Project Manager in the MEA and Central Asia Due Diligence Team, you will manage projects, prepare proposals and interact with our clients.
You will work with our customers and be the main client interface for UL (this also includes meetings with lenders and developers)
You will prepare proposals detailing the scope of work, team, budget and schedule
To ensure a timely delivery of our projects, you will manage internal as well as external resources
You will manage and execute independent engineering (IE) and technical advisory (TA) services to support the financing, sale, or acquisition of wind and solar plants and portfolios
You will be in charge of high profile IE and TA projects (this includes: overseeing turbine technology review, civil and electrical design review, review of commercial and technical contracts, project schedule, project financial model, CAPEX and OPEX costs, environmental and permitting review, site visits, and construction monitoring
You will compile and complete IE and TA reports as well as prepare various communication reports and project status reports
Post-COVID, you are available to travel up to 25% of the time within MEA, Central Asia e.g. to meet our clients, perform (monthly) construction visits, attend conferences within the region, etc.
What makes you a great fit:
Academic background in Engineering
At least 8+ years’ experience working as a project manager/engineer in wind due diligence, project development, construction, equipment supply, operations or mergers and acquisitions
Clear and deep understanding about the typical steps of a due diligence process
Language skills: Business fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage
Experienced in construction monitoring
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and level-headed when meeting tight deadlines.-
